Hey, now this is hella interesting! Pretty cool, we'll get to compare side by side.
OP, you're a true cool person.
Posting would take too long, so I'll dump the images here. I'm halfway through, so I'll finish the rest tomorrow.http://imgur.com/a/PCGAF
Awesome job! Any chance of scans for the other volumes?
you DO know you have to darken your scans and remove the grays. they look like くそ right now
Are the first two panels of the right-hand comic in this one just reversed? Instead of Tomo speaking out of context, is she just saying basically the same thing directly to Yukari?
Perhaps you should try looking in the Medifire first before making dumb comments. I can't go posting 34 mb tifs on here, now can I? And I'm no cleaner, so I leave the scans as-is.
Looks like it. There are a few odd changes in the reprint. A few strips were entirely left out.
…oh shit, I OWN the reprint and I haven't taken notice.
that can't be good.
Also congrats to OP for being braver than me and scanning everything. I can't stand the thought of bending my pages for scan clarity.
"dumb"? you wanna upload tifs? talking about dumb, whtta marron. You change tiffs into jpgs know-nothing moron.
The books are inexpensive, so it's no big deal to scan them. I've scanned hundreds of books by now as a hobby. I just woke up the other day and realized that no one's actually scanned the reprints yet, so here we are.
Oh, I also scanned the Osaka Expo anthology. It also has some public LQ raws to browse, so I skipped the first half of the book which just consists of merchandise photos.
I'll upload the other two volumes in a bit.
Thank you, you are a gentleman and a scholar.
It looks as though the order of the scans got messed up in the upload, but it's no big deal to me. Also I wouldn't complain if you decided to upload higher quality scans at some point, but I won't bug you over it.
Yeah, Imgur messed up the order, and I'm not about to correct 700 pages. These images are just for browsing. If someone wants to edit or something, I can upload the 600dpi scans. I just have to clear some space on the Mediafire folder.
Thanks for posting this.
Looking at them side by side, Azuma's technique has improved but …I think I love the old style more. It seems to have actual character and the expressions just stand out more.
Thinking about it, isn't it the same way with Yots? The early chapters seemed to have more exaggerated expressions. Now, it only seems Yots herself has these types of expressions.
So the only official Azu books that I haven't seen scanned are the line art book and the second volume artbook. Unless they have been already and I just haven't looked hard enough.
