I've never read it, but I've heard of it, and I also noticed the similarity between the main character and Fuuka.
I've heard of it also. Maybe I should give it a go.
The way you describe it makes it sound fun, OP.
I'll be giving it an honest chance but if I don't like it I'll sue you.
Okay, I just watched it.
The show reminds more of SHAFT than Azumanga, honestly. Yeah, I can see Azuma in the show, but most of its quirks strike me as very SHAFT-esque. I can't explain why, specifically, but when you but this show and Hidamari side by side, you can see it–in how the sleek look the show looks, in the dialogue, in the humor.
Nontheless, it pretty alright.
that ending, though. What the hell?
I thought OP was on about the manga.
The series description does make it look like something Shaft would do well with, no wonder they got the adaption. .
>>1054>The show reminds more of SHAFT than Azumanga
I thought you were talking about John Shaft.
I've just started reading this, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
Thanks to OP for bringing it up. You must surely be a handsome and cool person.
Back off, I saw him first.
Boys, boys, we can all share OP just like we all share Ralen.
DOWN TOWN E KURIDASOU
Absolutely loved the manga. So much so that I've stopped reading it a few chapters short of the end so it won't be over.
It really is suffering to finish something you really like. You end up feeling empty inside.
Any word on whether a U.S. publisher will pick it up and translate it?
I started reading the manga. I thought I was getting into some bullshit and ready to lay a thick, HARD criticism in OP's OPP, but it kind of won me over after a little while.
I can sort of see the light absurdity and reactions being a little Azumanga-esque. I'll have to read more another time to see if I like, but it's amusing.
You escaped the grips of my deadly and lengthy rant this time, OP.
Last chapter was just published, read the series has finished now.
I've designated the files for this final chapter as spoiler images for the benefit of those reading this series. If you intend to translate it, please do the same by checking the "Spoiler Image" check box next to the Reply button.
>>1084>series is finished now
Perfect, time to read it. >>1105
Are you going to put in a more fancy spoiler image?
This spoiler image was packaged with the board software. Suggestions for replacements are welcome.
Well, I love it.
Also, them digits.
The new spoiler image is now in effect.
Just chiming in to say the spoiler tag design looks hot.
Final chapter's been translated
If you have the translation on hand, you may post it here. Preferably, post it as a linked archive, rather than individual images.
Manga Traders has 13 volumes of this actually.
have there ever been any information that suggest that the ishiguro read yotsuba or azumanga daioh?
a brief google search for interviews with him yield no results for azumanga or yotsuba. I wouldn't say he didn't read them or at least knows them, but I didn't find anything
